Starting this year, the Ladies Auxiliary will be giving out two $500 scholarships.  The applicant must meet at least one of the following criterion:

• Have a father, grandfather, brother or son who is a member of a VFW post.  A letter from the Post Commander where the person belongs is a must.
  
• Have a relative serving in Iraq or Afghanistan (confirmation letter needed)
  
• Financial need

Applicants will be asked to complete a form which includes questions regarding household income, grade point average and plans for their degree.
